Ral Jr. was just a little boy when his dad wrote those words but that's exactly what he's done. Son of multi-platinum recording artist Ral Donner, who scored a string of Top 20 hits in the 60's which included "You Don't Know What You've Got (Until You Lose It), "Girl Of My Best Friend" and influenced such legendary rockers as John Lennon and Robert Plant, Ral Jr. was brought up listening to all the greats his dad admired and toured with such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Buddy Holly, Dion, Elvis, Sam Cooke, The Everly Bros. and Roy Orbison just to name a few.

Although his dad passed away when he was only 11 years old, his dad left him the most valuable thing anyone could have left him...his voice. By the time Ral Jr. reached high school, he sounded so much like his dad no one could believe it. Linda Donner, Ral's mom, contacted his dad's good friends and band members and the rest is history. For years to come, although Ral was performing the modern hits of the day, he would perform with his dad's band which included Joe Madrid, Earl Hensley, Dan Pawlack and Jack Burke.
 

In 2007, Ral and his brother Erik formed the widely popular party band Trash Martini which enjoyed a great 6 year run. Today, Ral is going back to his roots and doing an intimate one-man show performing all of his favorites of the 50's & 60's. Ral has performed all across the Midwest and has been hired by Dick Biondi, CM Punk, The Chicago Bears, Nike, Samsung, etc...

Today, Ral Donner Jr. puts on an intimate one man show bringing you the best of the 50’s and 60’s.  Come here the greats, Elvis, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash, Ral Donner Sr. and so many more!
